The crowd at Joo Chiat during night time is totally different from those during the day. Along Joo Chiat Road are many pubs and Karaoke lounges, and Hotel 81 (my friend says they charge by the hour).
On the streets you can see many woman which I think could be sex workers. Well, one woman called me out with a "Hello". She's in short skirt, sitting in the dark in front of a shop that makes burnt offerings for the deceased. That's probably the worst place along the street to be calling out strangers from.
I'm not a big fan of sketching at night. Well, you can't draw what you can't see.
People passing by must be wondering why there are two crazy people drawing at night.
