I'm planning to start a new section for guest reviews on computers for creative work - more specifically for graphic design, illustration, 3D modeling, animation, video or photo editing.
The goal is to help readers get the right tools for the job.
I've been to many forums where people just list specifications saying this is fast, that is great, but rarely do people talk about how effectively the software are running on the computers, or even the type of software they are using.
If you're using your computer for the type of work listed above, I invite you to share with readers here about your workstation.
Talk about your work. Talk about the software you use, and how good or bad your computer is at running them.
For example, you can talk about how long it takes to open huge Photoshop files or render a frame of 1080P animation, the incompatibility of certain graphic cards to running 3D software, the sluggishness when applying effects on Final Cut Pro, your file backup system, whether Adobe CS6 can run on older Mac OS, etc.
It's more helpful to have people who use software for work share their experience.
If you have recently bought or built a new computer and want to share, contact me at http://www.parkablogs.com/user/3/contact
In return, I can blurb your website to the readers on Parka Blogs.
Hopefully, this will help readers looking for a new computer.
