12 by 9 inch Strathmore Mixed Media 300 GSM paper, Schmincke watercolours
I think this sketch turned out quite badly. Interestingly, it still managed to get a few likes on my G+ page. People are too kind.
I was trying the new paper I just bought, Strathmore Mixed Media 300 GSM paper.
It doesn't absorb water so the water just glides on the surface. That explains the patchy look of the washes.
It's excellent for ink work though. I love how smooth ink pens runs on the surface. And the paper is pure white.
